Coronavirus (COVID-19) Notice
As we monitor the ongoing news about COVID-19, we want to reassure you that the health and safety of our patients, their families and our staff is a priority. We continue to closely monitor official information from the CDC and World Health Organization, as well as our state and local government initiatives within our community. In order to protect the health of our patients, our staff, and our community, we will be continuing to practice social distancing and we will only be providing essential medical services at this time while “Stay Well At Home” Orders are in effect for Ventura County.
If you or your family member has come into contact with a patient with confirmed COVID-19 within the last 14 days, has traveled to a foreign country with documented COVID -19 transmission within the last 14 days or are experiencing fever, cough or shortness of breath within the last 14 days, please call the office to reschedule your appointment. There will be no fees assessed for these COVID-19 related cancellations.
We will continue to maintain proper sterilization and strict infection control protocols. We will continue to sanitize all patient care areas, door handles, countertops and other hard surfaces. We also have additional hand sanitizer available throughout the office.
We have adopted a Universal Mask Policy in our office during this time. Our team will be wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) appropriate for this healthcare setting which includes a surgical mask and gloves. When you arrive for your appointment, you will be asked to use hand sanitizer and wear a cloth face covering or non-surgical mask throughout your visit. We have supplemental oxygen and essential oils available to help you feel as comfortable as possible wearing a mask during treatment. If you do not have a mask, one will be provided to you. We will continue to update our policies and protocols as the situation unfolds.
In order to maintain the safety and health of our patients, doctor and staff, we ask that your family member, friend or driver accompanying you for your appointment NOT come up to the office with the patient unless it is necessary to provide assistance. We are keeping our waiting room area clear and patients will be led immediately into their treatment room in order to maintain appropriate distances from one another. At the end of treatment, we will assist in bringing patients downstairs and help get them into the car as is necessary. Additional screening for exposure risks and symptoms will be done by phone the day before your appointment and on arrival to our facility. We are also trying to space patient appointments more to facilitate social distancing.
